About krasovin.online
We explain consumer security software in plain English — what the products actually do, what your computer already does for free, and what to check before you pay for anything. The site is funded by partner links, and we say so at the top of every page.
Why this site exists
Buying security software is a decision most people make once, under mild anxiety, with no way to test the product and no reliable way to tell an independent review from an advertisement. Search results fill up with pages that look like journalism and read like sales copy: invented star ratings, fabricated reader stories, countdown timers, and "your PC may be at risk" headlines designed to convert a worry into a click.
We think there is room for the opposite: pages that explain the mechanism, cite the laboratories that do the real testing, tell you honestly what is already built into your operating system, and disclose the commercial relationship instead of hiding it. That is what this site tries to be.

How we are paid
By affiliate commission, and by nothing else. If you follow a partner link and subscribe, the vendor pays us a share of the sale out of its own margin. Your price does not change. No advertiser sees an article before publication, and no payment buys a rating or a conclusion. The advertising disclosure sets out the arrangement in full.
What we will not do
Our editorial policy lists these in detail and binds us to them. In summary: no invented testimonials, no manufactured star ratings, no countdown timers or fake scarcity, no guaranteed-result claims, no fake scan warnings, no unattributed statistics, and no pretending to be independent while quietly earning commission.
What we collect about you
Nothing. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels, no browser storage, and not a single request to any other domain — no web fonts, no CDN, no embedded media. That is why there is no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to. The cookie policy shows you how to verify this in your own browser in under a minute.
What we are not
- Not a testing laboratory. We do not run malware samples. We read and cite the organisations that do: AV-TEST, AV-Comparatives and SE Labs.
- Not a vendor or a reseller. We sell nothing, take no payment from readers and cannot help with your subscription, licence or refund. Those go to the vendor.
- Not affiliated with any brand we write about. No endorsement, no sponsorship, no partnership beyond a disclosed affiliate link.
